Black Balls for Temperature Probes

Radiant temperature can be measured by the black ball thermometer. It is a hollow sphere in brass, Ø 150 mm, thickness 6/10 mm.

Technical data

  • Stuffing box system for fixation of the Pt100 or the sheath at the centre of the sphere.
  • Sphere covered by mat black multi-coat paint. High temperature 600°C with 0,95 average emission coffecient.
  • Complies with the recommandations of the NF ISO 7726 Std relative to the "thermal environment", X35-201 and X35- 202 Std relative to the "thermal constraints of the working man".
