Ohaus Defender 5000 VFP Series Floor Scale - 1500 x 1250 x 90
This is the Ohaus Defender 5000 VFP Series floor and pit mount scale which is part of a cost competitive lineup of stainless steel floor and pit mount scales that don't compromise on quality for dry industrial applications. It is powered by four stainless steel IP68 hermetically sealed load cells which will withstand years of daily usage in industrial environments, these scale offer a unique combination of affordability, quality and versatility.
The scale is equipped with a T51P which has software for parts counting, dynamic weighing, percent weighing, checkweighing, display hold and meets traceability requirements. There are four IP68 electro-polished stainless steel load cells that are laser-weld hermetically sealed and OIML approved are standard on all models. The scales have a floor-pit mount design and painted steel fixed decks with structural bracing provides versatility for portable or stationary placement in an above or below ground installation.
It has a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) and 3 colour checkweighing LEDs and is operated either via a power cord (included) or 6 C (LR14) batteries (not included) or a rechargeable battery (accessory sold separately). There is an easy access communication port including RS232 (included) and 2nd RS232 or RS422/RS485 (accessories sold separately). GLP/GMP data output with real time clock. Construction of this scale is an ABS plastic indicator with reversible rear cover and painted steel mounting bracket, a black painted steel platform, an IP67 stainless steel junction box with top access, an IP68 OIML R60 electro-polished stainless steel load cells, available pit frames, mounting plates and ramps (accessories sold separately). Another design feature is 150% overload protection.
