From April 2012 an EU Directive will place a responsibility on employers to ensure electro-magnetic field radiation is assessed and, where possible, reduced or measures are taken to reduce the risks and keep exposure below the Exposure Limit Value (ELV).

A range of level meters and measurement equipment for electro-magnetic fields are now available which can be used to measure electric and magnetic fields and worker exposure levels.
