This is the Ohaus Valor 4000 water resistant food scale which raises the bar and sets a new industry standard with the winning combination of touchless operations, speed and durability. The scale possesses plastic housing and offers a large LED front and rear display. It is for food safety and legal for trade approvals and puncture resistant keypads which make it the premier scale for use in dry or washdown environments.
The scale is safe to use in wet environments and its flow-thru design ensures that the scale remains clean and operational and its knife resistant keypad making the scale more durable. There is legal for trade certifications and a food safe design that is NSF Certified, USDA-AMS Accepted and supports HACCP Certified systems as well as being ready for demanding applications. Productivity is increased without sacrificing accuracy because of the touchless sensors combined with a half second stabilization time as well as checkweighing and percent weighing modes.
There is a dual light emitting diode (LED) displays and operation is through either an AC adapter (included) or rechargeable battery (included). The construction is ABS housing with stainless steel platform (PW), stainless steel housing and platform (XW)m, illuminated up-front level indicator and a rear touchless sensor. Other design features include and auto-close power jack cover, menu and mode setup navigation prompts on keys and a transportation handle.
