The BUCK Elite™ is a data logging, programmable personal air sampler. It consists of a pump which is contained within a high impact steel fibre filled Lexan, antistatic and FI/EMI- shielded case. This product has an exclusive electronic circuit board which provides for constant flow control (patent pending) and an LCD display which has 2 lines of 16 characters.
The BUCK Elite™ has a single diaphragm pump mechanism and also comes with a rechargeable NiMH battery pack. This pumps purpose is to draw air contaminants in through a sampling media, for instance a 25 and 37mm filter cassettes, bubble impingers, long duration colour detector tubes; to gauge personnel exposure to vapours, particulates, aerosols, gases, etc.
A password protected keypad locking system provides uninterrupted operation, however there are no tools required to operate the pump. When using the main display it allows for quick selection to RUN (for sampling) or MENU (to reset the pumps data). The other features included with this product are flow rate, accumulated volume and an elapsed time.
A PC link capability lets you download the sampling data into a PC with Windows XP operating system using the RS232 COM port and the Buck PC link cable.
This product has an easy programming software which makes the pump ideal for unattended Start/Stop operation with the capability for up to ten different ON/OFF durations with repeat operations.
