This is the first ever personal hand-arm vibration exposure meter. It has been intricately designed with the user in mind and has a large 8gb memory so it can store large sources of information with the firmware that available with the piece of kit. The instrument meets ISO 8041:2005 standard and is an ideal choice for the measurements according to the European Directive 2002/44/EC.
The SV 103 is typically attached to the user’s arm and is small enough not to interfere with working activities. It works with “Supervisor” software which allows instrument configuration, measurement results viewing and exporting as well as daily vibration exposure recalculation. There is an OLED screen which displays information in both text and graphical form and offers excellent visibility even in full daylight. Advantages like shock resistance, no DC offset effect, very low power and frequency response down to DC are given through the new technology of a MEMS accelerometer. It is powered using rechargeable batteries or through the USB interface which also enables easy connection between the SV 103 and a PC.
